MP Board exam 2027: 10th and 12th, class by class
The Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (MPBSE) conducts the Class 10 (High School) and Class 12 (Higher Secondary) exams, usually in February and March. The 2027 papers follow the NCERT-based syllabus and the board’s blueprint: an objective block first, then 2, 3 and 4-mark descriptive questions with internal choice. Pick your class for the chapter list, pattern and practice in Hindi and English.

What the paper looks like
MP Board Class 10 papers typically carry 75 marks of theory and 25 marks of internal assessment (project or practical) per subject. The theory paper opens with an objective block of about 30 marks made of multiple-choice questions, fill in the blanks, true or false, match the columns and one-word answers, followed by 2, 3 and 4-mark questions with internal choice. The paper lasts 3 hours.
In Class 12, subjects with a practical (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) are usually 70 marks of theory plus 30 practical, and the rest (Mathematics, Hindi, English, Accountancy, Economics, Business Studies, History, Geography, Political Science) are 80 marks of theory plus 20 internal. The objective-then-descriptive layout is the same.
MPBSE publishes a blueprint for every subject that states how many questions of each mark come from each unit, and a model paper built on it. Download both from mpbse.nic.in each year; the blueprint is the closest thing to a chapter-wise weightage you will get and it changes.
